TaxGal is built around the idea that public finance information should be easier to question, verify, and improve. If you see something that looks outdated, unclear, inaccessible, or too broad, you can send feedback to hi@taxgal.org.
Government policy, budget, finance, audit, and program officials are especially welcome to contact TaxGal if you would like to help improve this calculator. If your office can provide more current budget analysis, program spending percentages, public accounts tables, or clearer category mappings, please email hi@taxgal.org so the Canada model can better reflect official data.
For public officials and policy teams
The most helpful contributions are specific and source-backed: a budget table, public accounts schedule, departmental plan, audited spending summary, or official explanation of how a spending category should be mapped. TaxGal can cite the source and update the model notes so visitors understand where the percentages came from.
Helpful correction details
- The page name or URL where you saw the issue.
- The spending category or sentence that needs review.
- A link to an official source, budget, public accounts page, or data table when possible.
- Any accessibility issue, such as text contrast, keyboard navigation, or screen-reader clarity.
